At EZ Bus Tours, we’re here to bring neighbors together through unforgettable bus trips, cruises, and excursions. Our mission is to make travel simple, social, and joyful for seniors across our communities.
EZ Bus Tours began with a simple phone call after the pandemic. Pat Dye, our Lakeland Tours Manager, reached out with an idea: seniors in our local communities were ready to travel again, but the tour company that had been serving them had closed its doors. Pat had been staying connected with the group leaders from each community, meeting for lunch every month to share stories and keep in touch. They all agreed — it was time to bring travel back. So, on October 7, 2021, we partnered with Highland Fairways to run our very first trip to the Starlite Dinner Theater. The excitement, laughter, and sense of togetherness on that outing confirmed what we already believed: travel has the power to lift spirits, set aside daily worries, and bring people closer — both old friends and new. As we continued to grow, community group leaders began asking not only about their own trips, but also about what other communities were planning. That’s how the idea for the Marketplace was born — a central place where seniors can explore tours, cruises, and excursions hosted by different communities, and join in by simply purchasing online and meeting at the host community’s departure point. Our story is still being written. We’re growing the variety of trips and looking forward to offering tours that aren’t tied to a single community, but are open to all, departing from central locations around town. Our mission remains the same: to make travel simple, joyful, and accessible for seniors — because every journey should be filled with laughter, friendship, and unforgettable memories.
ABOUT US
This is your place to find new adventures! Our Marketplace brings together bus trips, cruises, and longer excursions that your community – and other nearby communities – have planned. Instead of keeping these trips just for one group, we’re opening them up so everyone can join in. All you need to do is purchase your ticket online, then drive to the host community on the day of travel to meet the bus. It’s that simple! Think of it as an invitation to explore, make new friends, and share fun experiences – all while enjoying the comfort and ease of traveling together.
